Chandigarh, March 6:- In a spiritually uplifting initiative, employees of the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh organized Shree Hanumaan Chaalisa paath & Bajrang Baan and Sukhmani Sahib Path at the MCC Building, Sector 17, seeking peace, prosperity and well-being for the employees of the Corporation as well as the residents of the city.
The religious programme was conducted with deep devotion and witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and staff members of the Municipal Corporation. The sacred recitation created an atmosphere of spiritual harmony and collective prayer within the MCC premises.
Chandigarh Mayor Sh. Saurabh Joshi, Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS, Commissioner, and Sh. Pardeep Kumar, IAS, Special Commissioner, Sh. Jasmanpreet Singh, Senior Deputy Mayor, Smt. Suman Sharma, Deputy Mayor along with councillors, senior officers and officials of MCC, attended the programme and paid their respects during the Path. They appreciated the initiative taken by the employees to organize such a spiritual gathering and conveyed their best wishes for harmony, positivity and collective welfare within the Municipal Corporation and across the city.
On the occasion, prayers were offered for the prosperity, good health and success of MCC employees and for the continued progress and development of Chandigarh. The dignitaries emphasized that such spiritual events play an important role in strengthening unity, fostering positivity and promoting mutual cooperation among employees.
A large number of officers and employees participated in the Path with great devotion. Following the programme, Langar was arranged by the employees and served to all attendees, reflecting the true spirit of service, equality and community participation.
