Ludhiana 06 March 2026-A Mini Atlas of Laboratory Diagnostics-cum-Table Calendar was released by Dr. J. P. S. Gill, Vice Chancellor, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. The atlas was conceptualized and designed by Dr. Vishal Mahajan, In-charge, Animal Disease Research Centre (ADRC) and Dr. M. S. Bal, Principal Scientist for the benefit of veterinary students and practicing veterinarians. The calendar presents high-quality images of common laboratory diagnostic findings, enabling quick visual reference for accurate disease diagnosis.

A distinctive feature of this calendar is the integration of QR codes. By scanning these codes, users can directly access a comprehensive list of diagnostic tests available at the diagnostic laboratories of the Animal Disease Research Centre (ADRC) and the Multi-Specialty Veterinary Hospital of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.

Dr Gill said that this initiative aims to enhance awareness and accessibility of laboratory diagnostic services and to bridge the gap between clinical practice and advanced laboratory support for effective disease diagnosis and management. He appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of upgrading diagnostic facilities and introducing advanced tests to ensure precise and rapid diagnosis of animal diseases.
