Two persons arrested in Arms act

Chandigarh Police arrested Ashish R/o # 76 Indira Awas Colony Ph-1 Ramdarbar, Chandigarh from the open ground at CRPF wall, Hallomajra, Chandigarh on dated 05-03-2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No. 43 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Parshant R/o H. No. 817, Phase-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh, from backside jungle area near Masjid Mandi Ground, Ramdarbar on dated 05-03-2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No. 44 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Theft

A case FIR No. 16 U/S 305(E), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-49 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o , Phase-2, Ram Darbar Chandigarh against Ashish R/o H No 2655/1, Ews Colony Sector 49/C Chandigarh and one other. They were stolen pipes and taps from a public toilet, Pushpak Society Sector-49 park, Chandigarh on dated 05-03-2026. During the investigation Ashish was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 35 U/S 303(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Umesh Dubey R/o H. No 330 Vill Moli Pind Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away 04 (out of 05) Voltas company ac compressor (outer fan) from the roof of the office of Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan Sector 35/C, Chandigarh on the night intervening 04/05-03-2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in voluntarily causing hurt

A Case FIR No. 42 U/S 115(2), 126(2), 118(1), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Nitin R/o # 941, Phase 1, Ramdarbar , Chandigarh against Suraj and Juvenile they attacked on complainant with knife and stabbed on the left side of his chest near Shiv Mandir Drdo on 4-03-2026. Victim sustained injuries and was admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh. Accused juvenile R/o phase-1 Ramdarbar, Chandigarh was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 32 U/S 115 (2), 118 (2), 351(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Jasparan Singh R/o House No. 2497, Sector 40 C, Chandigarh against Sameer Sandhu, Vanshpreet and other person they attacked on Complainant with stick and knife near S.D College Main Gate Sector 32 Chandigarh on dated 17-02-2026. Victim sustained injuries and was admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Two Persons arrested in Accident Case

A case FIR No.41 U/S 105, 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Priyanshu R/o # 1434, Phase 1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh against Sunil Kumar R/o # Jai Mata Transport Bhabat Godown Area, Zirakpur, and Phool Singh R/o # 2096 Phase 2 near cut and care, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh driver and driver of bolero pick up no. CH01 TC 2662 they quarrel and hit Complainant and his cousin namely Sooraj R/o # 1434 ph-1 Ramdarbar, Chandigarh near Govt Model High School Ph-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh on dated 04-03-2026. Both victims sustained injuries and were admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh where the duty doctor declared Soorj brought dead. During the investigation both accused were arrested. A Case FIR No.43 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-11 Chandigarh on the complaint of girl R/o # Shiv Mandir, Teh. Ponda Sahib, Distt. Sirmor, Himachal Pradesh against Karanvir R/o boys hostel no. 3 PU Sector -14, Chandigarh driver of bullet m/cycle no. PB-02-CA-3636 who hit pedestrian Complainant near 15/16 d/road on dated 24-02-2026. Complainant was admitted to GMSH-16 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 33 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Mradula Gupta R/O Flat No. 644, Top Floor, Omaxe Cassia, New Chandigarh against unknown driver of car no. CH-02-AA-6889 which hit Complainant scooter no. HP-21-B-7941 near Sd College Sector -32, Chandigarh on dated 08-12-2025. The victim sustained injuries and was admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
