Visit aims to attract investment, enhance industrial and technological cooperation: CM
Discussions planned with leading Japanese corporations during 3-day visit
Chandigarh, October 5 — Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini will undertake an official visit to Japan from October 6 to 8 2025 to strengthen economic, industrial and cultural collaboration between Haryana and Japan. The visit aims to attract investments, deepen cooperation in technology and manufacturing, and showcase Haryana as a leading destination for global investors.
The Chief Minister will arrive in Tokyo on October 6 morning and begin his official engagements with high-level meetings at Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. He will hold discussions with Mr. Miyaji Takuma, State Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), and Mr. Koga Yuichiro, State Minister for Economy, Trade and Industry, to explore avenues of cooperation in trade, investment, and technology transfer.
In the afternoon, Sh. Saini will participate in a series of programmes at the Embassy of India, Tokyo. The Chief Minister will also meet senior representatives of JETRO, AISIN, Air Water, TASI, NAMBU, DENSO, SOJITZ, Nissin Foods, Kawakin Holdings, Sumitomo Corporation, and Toppan to discuss investment opportunities in Haryana. He will also hold a formal interaction with Governor of Shimane Prefecture. The day will conclude with a community event featuring the celebration of the Gita Mahotsav at the Embassy of India, Tokyo.
On October 7, Sh. Saini will travel to Osaka via Shinkansen (bullet train) to participate in the World Expo 2025. He will inaugurate the Haryana State Zone and interact with Japanese Mayors and business leaders at the Expo site. The Chief Minister will also meet the leadership of major Japanese corporations including Kyocera, Minebea Mitsumi, Mitsui Kinzoku Components, Horiba Ltd., and the Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan. In the evening, he will take part in an investment roadshow in Osaka to showcase Haryana’s industrial ecosystem and invite Japanese investors to establish units in the state.
On October 8, the Chief Minister will meet the management of Suzuki and later visit the Kubota plant in Osaka for discussions on advanced manufacturing. His engagements also include a meeting with the Governor of Osaka Prefecture. Following these meetings, Sh. Saini will depart for India, while the delegation led by the Industries Minister will continue the visit.
Speaking about his upcoming visit to Japan, the Chief Minister said many Japanese companies are already operating in Haryana. He added that in the state budget, the government had announced the establishment of 10 new IMTs (Industrial Model Townships), and suitable locations for them are currently being identified. Over the past ten years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, Haryana has developed into a major industrial zone.
The Chief Minister further said that many investors are keen to invest in Haryana, and during his visit to Japan, he will also hold separate meetings with potential investors.

Chandigarh, October 5 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini today departed from Chandigarh to Delhi by Shatabdi Express. During the journey, he interacted with the media and spoke about his upcoming visit to Japan and the achievements of his government. The Chief Minister informed that on October 17, the present state government will complete one year in office, and Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will grace the anniversary celebrations to be held in Sonipat, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of several development projects.
Speaking about his visit to Japan, the Chief Minister said that he will be on a three-day tour from October 6 to 8. Haryana’s pavilion has been set up in Japan, where he will participate and hold meetings with several investors. He will also interact with people from Haryana residing in Japan. He said as per Haryana’s industrial policy, the Japan visit aims to attract investment and create new opportunities for the state.
Highlighting the government’s performance over the past year, Sh. Saini said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, Haryana is progressing at three times the earlier pace. He added that 42 commitments made in the Sankalp Patra have already been fulfilled and work is in progress on 90 others.
He informed that around 19 lakh women in the state are receiving gas cylinders for just Rs 500. During the third term of the government, 25,000 youth have been provided employment so far. The Chief Minister said that people who have been occupying panchayat land for the last 20 years are being given ownership rights.
He also informed that Scheduled Caste girl students scoring 90% or above are being awarded Rs 1.11 lakh as an incentive. Sanskriti Model Schools based on the CBSE pattern are being opened every 10 kilometers across the state.
Responding to a question, the Chief Minister criticized the opposition and said that false propaganda is being spread regarding MSP, whereas the Central Government has consistently taken decisions in favour of farmers. He added that all allegations made by the opposition have fallen flat. “The Congress is finished, and under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, both the Central and State Governments are continuously working for public welfare,” he said.
Taking a jibe at Congress leader Sh. Rahul Gandhi, he remarked that it took him a year to appoint former Chief Minister Sh. Bhupinder Singh Hooda as the Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly.
On the issue of the CLU CD case, the Chief Minister said that such incidents used to happen during the Congress government’s tenure. Responding to a question about former MP Sh. Brijendra Singh’s ‘Sadhbhavna Yatra’, the Chief Minister said that the BJP has always worked to unite people. “Chaudhary Birender Singh was made a minister, his son a Member of Parliament, and his wife an MLA. The respect that the BJP has given them was never offered by the Congress,” he added.

Rao Narbir Singh was addressing the 9th Mission Maati Deep Mahotsav organized by the Prajapati Kumbhkar Sangh at Farrukhnagar in Gurugram district as the chief guest. During the event, a collective lighting of 5,151 lamps was carried out in the community centre premises. On this occasion, the Cabinet Minister also laid the foundation stones of the Farrukhnagar Municipal Office and Library Building.
In his address, Sh. Rao Narbir Singh said that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision of “Vocal for Local – Local for Global” is receiving tremendous support across the country. Chandigarh, October 5 – Haryana’s Development and Panchayats Minister Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar inaugurated Assembly-level competitions under the Sansad Khel Pratiyogita at village Phoola in the Ratia Assembly constituency of Fatehabad district on Sunday. The programme was presided over by Rajya Sabha MP Sh. Subhash Barala. Players from villages of Ratia, Nagpur, and Fatehabad blocks participated in the event.
On the occasion, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar said the Sansad Khel Pratiyogita is not just a sports event but a festival celebrating the energy, strength, and talent of the youth. He said Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has transformed sports into a strong medium for nation-building through his call of “Khelega Bharat, Khilega Bharat”. Initiatives like Khelo India and Fit India have helped nurture a new sporting culture across the country. He informed that the Sansad Khel Pratiyogita 2025 began nationwide on September 21 and will continue at various locations till December 25.
The Cabinet Minister also announced that roads leading to fields, covering two stretches of ten acres each, will be paved in all 258 villages of Fatehabad district. He said the government is committed to ensuring equal development opportunities across all sectors. Additionally, he announced Rs 21 lakh from the District Council for the development of the stadium in village Phoola, rejuvenation of the village pond (Johad), establishment of a women’s Sanskrit centre, setting up of an indoor gym, and construction of five paved roads leading to the fields in village Phoola.
Sh. Panwar further informed that after nearly 15 years, the Haryana Olympic Association is organizing large-scale state-level sports competitions. The event will be held across various districts from November 2 to November 9, 2025, and will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini in Gurugram.
On this occasion, the Convener of the Sirsa Parliamentary Constituency Sports Festival and HARCOFED Chairman Sh. Ved Phoola, District Council Chairperson Smt. Suman Khichar, along with a large number of dignitaries, players, and villagers, were present.
