CHANDIGARH, 04.10.25- The Department of Psychology of Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Sector 32, Chandigarh, under the PM-USHA Scheme, organized an invited lecture on “Mental Health and Well-Being” on 4th October 2025 (Saturday).
The session was led by Mr. Surinder Sharma, an expert in the field of mental health and wellness. The invited lecture emphasized the importance of maintaining psychological well-being, adopting healthy coping mechanisms, and fostering resilience in everyday life. Through insightful discussions and practical strategies, Mr. Surinder Sharma encouraged students to prioritize self-care, cultivate emotional balance, and develop a proactive approach towards mental health.
The event was convened by Dr. Tarundeep Kaur and coordinated with the support of Mr. Abhinav Sharma and Ms. Pratima Sharma. Over 100 students actively participated in the invited lecture, appreciating the valuable knowledge and interactive nature of the session. Principal Dr. Ajay Sharma expressed gratitude to Mr. Surinder Sharma for delivering such a meaningful and impactful session. He also mentioned that such sessions help students stay aware, positive, and emotionally strong in today’s fast paced world.
