Chandigarh, September 21, 2025-The celebration of Kshamayachana Diwas today at the Guru Nanak Auditorium of the Punjab Raj Bhavan brought a divine and unforgettable experience. The entire auditorium reverberated with sacred words, sermons from saints, and a sweet atmosphere of devotion. Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Mr. Gulab Chand Kataria graced the occasion as the chief guest and shared the message of forgiveness and compassion with the devotees.

On this occasion, Sukhdarshan Muni Ji, Mahadev Muni Ji, Lady Saint Santosh Ji , Lady Saint Sudhesh Ji , Vinay Muni Ji, Abhay Kumar Ji, Alok Muni Ji, Ashish Muni Ji, Uttam Muni Ji, Virah Muni Ji, and Sudhakar Muni Ji, through their saintly words, highlighted the divinity of forgiveness, the depth of compassion, and the importance of self-purification.

Sukhdarshan Muni Ji said that forgiveness is not just a virtue, but the highest spiritual practice of the soul. Cultivating forgiveness is a symbol of self-strength and the ornament of a true hero. Mahadev Muni Ji said, “Kshamaayachana Day is not just a festival, but an opportunity to wash away the impurities within the soul, making us truly pure.” Santosh Ji explained in his words that there is no greater victory than forgiveness, because when we abandon hatred and embrace friendship,

Sudhesh Ji said that if we abandon anger and bitterness and choose the path of patience and sweetness, life itself becomes a spiritual practice. Vinay Muni Ji, in his sermon, said that if forgiveness permeates families, society, and politics, differences will disappear and a new chapter of unity will begin. Describing forgiveness as a sacred gift from God, Abhay Kumar Ji said that forgiveness connects the soul with the Supreme Being and transforms human life into a divine one.

Alok Muni Ji, explaining the depth of "Michami Dukkadam," said that it is not just words but a lifelong commitment—a vow to choose the path of compassion, friendship, and love every moment. Ashish Muni Ji, describing the glory of forgiveness, said that forgiveness purifies the soul and elevates life. Uttam Muni Ji said that through introspection and repentance in the process of forgiveness, a person moves toward ultimate peace. Virah Muni Ji, in his words, said that forgiveness is the bridge that connects man to man and provides harmony to society. Sudhakar Muni Ji, meanwhile, said that forgiveness is the true path to realizing the true nature of the soul and is the true door to salvation.

In his address, Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria described this tradition of Jainism as an inspiration for all humanity, saying that forgiveness has the power to mend broken relationships, free humans from ego, and become the foundation of peace and harmony in society. He said, "Kshama Veerasya Bhushanam" is not a simple phrase, but a direction of life. If we embrace forgiveness, it will illuminate not only our personal lives but also the soul of our families, communities, and nations.

He spoke with great emotion before the devotees, saying, "If my thoughts, words, or actions have hurt anyone, knowingly or unknowingly, I also offer my humble apology at your feet - Michamhi Dukkadam." These words stirred deep emotional ripples throughout the auditorium, filling the atmosphere with compassion, friendship, and peace.
