CHANDIGARH, 23.08.25-The three-day Homi Bhabha Cancer Conclave (HBCC) 2025 at NMIMS, Chandigarh, witnessed a landmark moment with the inauguration of Robotic-Assisted Cancer Surgery at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (HBCH&RC), Punjab, by Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Chandigarh Administrator, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria. The Governor lauded Tata Memorial Centre’s 80-year legacy and stressed the need for expansion amidst rising cancer cases. He highlighted environmental causes, national health initiatives, and praised HBCH&RC’s preventive screenings of 1.7 lakh people. With over 400 experts attending, the conclave features academic sessions, debates, and a Cancer Awareness Walkathon, reinforcing Punjab’s access to advanced cancer care.
