MAHENDERGARH, 11.08.25-The prestigious Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) has selected Dr. Santosh C. H., Librarian of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh to represent India in its Advisory Board. DOAJ is a well-known open access directory comprising 21000 open access research journals in 89 languages representing 138 countries. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University congratulated Dr. Santosh C.H. on this achievement.

Dr. Santosh C. H. who has been consistently working in the area of open access and is now a part of the advisory board of 20 members representing different countries among 130 open access advocates from across the world. Dr. Santosh has expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of CUH Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar for the support and guidance for this achievement.
The Advisory Board of DOAJ aims to ensure that DOAJ benefits from broad representation, community insight and advice. Its members will provide input to both the Foundation Board and the DOAJ Team, helping to guide our strategic direction and ensure that our services continue to meet the needs of the global scholarly communication community. The Advisory Board will hold its first meeting in September to initiate various activities for increasing the visibility, accessibility and quality of open access research worldwide.
