CHANDIGARH, 10 Aug 2025-Today, representatives of Chandigarh Teachers Association (CTA) met Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Singh Sandhu at his residence and requested him to intervene in the insensitive behavior of Chandigarh Administration towards issues of teachers.

The delegation, specially Patron Satnam Singh, Legal Adviser Arvind Rana, General Secretary Ajay Sharma, Secretary Kapil Sharma, Joint Secretary Anil Vashist, Organizing Secretary Sanjeev Kumar and executive members said that due to the insensitive behaviour of Chandigarh Administration, teachers working in Chandigarh are facing a lot of problems. They said that the demand letter is taken but no action is taken on it and it remains only a headline in the newspapers. The representatives said that we have informed the MP about this matter today and have also requested him to intervene in this serious matter. They said that we hope that the MP's intervention will lead to improvement in the administrative working system so that teachers and employees will get their rights. The representatives said that they are happy that MP Satnam Singh Sandhu by understanding this sentiment has assured them that he will soon put this issue before the administration and will make meaningful efforts to solve the problems of the teachers.

Along with this, the representatives said that they have requested Satnam Sandhu to attend the program being organized by Chandigarh Teachers Association on Teachers' Day in which a book written by the teachers of Chandigarh will be unveiled and along with this a play will be shown on a very important topic related to teachers. The representatives of Chandigarh Teachers Association said that they thank MP from the bottom of their hearts who has accepted their request while giving respect to the teachers. CTA members also said that on this day the first convention of Chandigarh Teachers Association will also be held and all the demands will be placed in detail before the MP.
