MAHENDERGARH, 27.08.25-On the third day of the ongoing Deeksharambh (Student Induction) Program for the academic session 2025-26 at the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh,Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor addressed the newly admitted students of the School of Education. He expressed that “Nation First” should be the guiding principle of life and highlighted the greater responsibility of future teachers in shaping society and the nation.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar stressed that the University education goes beyond bookish knowledge, fostering practical understanding and moral values. He remarked that a teacher’s true success lies in lifelong learning and continuous pursuit of knowledge. Referring to CUH as a “Mini India,” he encouraged students to embrace the diverse culture, traditions, and values they experience during their academic journey.
Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro-Vice-Chancellor welcoming the students, underlined the importance of “how to learn” rather than “what we learn.” He said that teacher education requires integrating real-life examples into the learning process and reaffirmed that the spirit of Nation First must always remain central.
Prof. Renu Yadav, Dean Students’ Welfare gave a detailed presentation on student-centric facilities and resources available at the University. Prof. Suneel Kumar Registrar welcomed the students and emphasized adherence to rules and regulations along with academic and co-curricular participation. He assured students of the University administration’s continuous support.
Other senior officials, including Controller of Examinations Prof. Rajeev Kaushik, Finance Officer Dr. Vikas Kumar, Dean Research Prof. Neelam Sangwan, Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Pawan Kumar Maurya, Proctor Dr. Nand Kishore, and Wardens Dr. Manish Kumar, introduced the students to various facilities and procedures of the University.
The program also witnessed the presence of Dean, School of Education Prof. Ravinder Pal Ahlawat, Prof. Pramod Kumar, HoD, Department of Education; Prof. J.P. Bhukar, HoD, Department of Physical Education and Sporsts a large number of students, faculty members, and officers. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Neeraj Karn Singh, Deputy Dean, along with Assistant Deans Students’ Welfare Dr. Mulaka Maruti and Devendra Rajput.
