One arrested under Arms Act

A case FIR No. 91 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station-Mauli Jagran. He reported that Rahul @ Lovely R/o #2513, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh, aged 25 years, was arrested from slip road near under railway bridge, Vikas Nagar, Chandigarh, on 24-08-2025, and one button knife was recovered from his possession. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 113 u/s 281, 125(A), 106(1) BNS has been registered at Police Station-39 on the complaint of Ankush R/o Village Palsora, Sector-55, Chandigarh. He reported that on 24-08-2025, his bike No. CH-01CZ-9732 was hit by an I20 car No. T0625CH0749B at Sector 40/41, Light Point, which then sped away from the spot. His friends, namely Dhruv and Vikas, sustained injuries and were admitted to PGI, where they succumbed during treatment. Later, the accused was identified as Subham R/o #1054, Dadu Majra Colony, Chandigarh, aged 26 years, who was arrested and bailed out.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 103 u/s 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station-Cyber Crime on the complaint of Vivek Kumar R/o #2265, Sector-50, Chandigarh. He reported that he was cheated of ₹3,02,699/- regarding an online investment fraud by some unknown person. Investigation of this case is in progress..
