Two arrested in negligent conduct with respect to fire or combustible matter.

Chandigarh Police arrested Satinder Pal Singh and Dashrath both R/o # 213, SS Hotel, Village Kajheri Chandigarh from their residence while both the accused were transferring the LPG from one cylinder to another cylinder. A Case FIR No 175 U/S 287 BNS, 7 EC Act & 4(1)(a) LPG control order execution Act. 2000 has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in disobeying the order of DM

Chandigarh Police arrested Pardeep Kumar R/o # 184, ward no 11, Sekha Mohalla, Roper Punjab who was running the Immigration Office at SCO No 67, 3^rd floor Sector 17/B Chandigarh without any permission/license and disobeyed the orders of the DM UT, Chandigarh. A Case FIR No 129 U/S 223 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 17 Chandigarh. Later on, the accused was released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested for consuming liquor at a public place.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sonu R/o # 2066, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh from back side Axis Bank NAC, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on dated 12-08-2025 while drinking at a public place and creating nuisance. A Case FIR No. 82 U/S 68-1(B) PP Act 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh. Later on, the accused was released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cheating

A Case FIR No.126 U/S 318(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Chetan R/o # 588, Village - Nada, District- Mohali Punjab against Beant Singh, Prop. of Can Visa Consultancy, SCO No. 91-93 Sector 34/A, Chandigarh who cheated with the complainant R.s 50000/- regarding tourist visa Canada. Investigation of this case is in progress.
