Chandigarh, 6 August:An important meeting was held today at the BJP State Office Kamlam, Sector-33, Chandigarh, regarding the planning and execution of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. The meeting was chaired by BJP Chandigarh State President Jatinder Pal Malhotra, while the keynote address was delivered by BJP National Secretary and MLA from Jammu & Kashmir, Dr. Narinder Raina.
The objective of the meeting was to provide detailed information and organizational direction to the party workers to make the campaign a grand success. Speakers emphasized the importance of instilling patriotic values in every citizen and encouraging people to hoist the national flag at their homes.
State President Jatinder Pal Malhotra stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this campaign is not just about hoisting the flag, but about evoking a sense of national pride and unity among citizens. He urged all Mandal Presidents, Councillors, and Karyakartas to treat this as a mass movement and personally connect with citizens to encourage participation.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Narinder Raina said that this campaign is a tribute to India’s glorious history and the sacrifices of freedom fighters. BJP workers across the nation are actively engaged in the campaign, and Chandigarh too will witness historic participation.
It was decided in the meeting that BJP Chandigarh will organize Tiranga Yatras in every ward of the city. Through these yatras, party workers will connect with the public and motivate them to hoist the Tricolour. Alongside, cleanliness drives will be conducted at Shaheed Smaraks (martyr memorials) across all wards, as a mark of respect to the martyrs and to promote cleanliness.
Senior state-level office bearers of BJP Chandigarh were also present in the meeting and shared their insights and strategies for ensuring the campaign’s success. The meeting also witnessed participation from Mandal Presidents, District Office Bearers, Councillors, Morcha Heads, and several senior Karyakartas.
All attendees resolved to make this campaign a grand success and run a city-wide awareness campaign from now until 15th August.
The goal of BJP Chandigarh is to ensure that every heart beats with pride for the Tricolour and that the campaign becomes a symbol of national unity and public participation.
