CHANDIGARH, 07.08.25-Gurukul Global School has taken a unique and creative initiative by successfully launching Tricity’s first school radiocast. This radiocast is entirely scripted, presented, and recorded by the students themselves and has been produced in the school’s on-campus Production and Broadcast Studio.

This innovative project is led by the school’s Theatre Instructor and Studio Manager, Mr. Gaurav Anand.

On this special occasion, renowned radio jockey RJ Karan, popularly known as “Chandigarh ka Kadak Launda,” graced the event as the chief guest. In his energetic style, he inspired the students to embrace creativity and remarked,
"Creativity can be found anywhere and everywhere."

The primary objective of the radiocast is to enhance students’ oratory and communication skills while also introducing them to modern methods of media and communication.

The first episode of the radiocast, titled ‘Hai Garmi’, was released on 7th August 2025, and new episodes will be broadcast every Thursday. The radiocast will be available on major audio streaming platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, Gaana, Hungama Music, JioSaavn, and more.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the School President, Mrs. Neena Setia, Managing Director Mr. Praveen Setia, and Principal Mrs. Urvashi Kakkar. A special cultural performance by the students added to the memorability of the occasion.
