CHANDIGARH, 09.08.25-Prof. Dr. S.P. Singh, an eminent and distinguished Orthodontist, Head of the Department at the Oral Health Sciences Center, PGIMER, Chandigarh, was honored with the prestigious Fenton Braithwaite Oration during 23rd IndocleftCon 2025, held at Bombay Hospital in Mumbai from August 4th to 6th, 2025.

Indocleftcon is an annual conference of Indian society of cleft lip and palate and craniofacial anolmalies. The theme of conference was "Teamwork Makes The Dream Work," emphasizing a collaborative approach to cleft care.

Prof. Dr. Singh delivered an inspiring oration titled “My Journey with Every Smile: A Life with Cleft Care,” reflecting his four decades of holistic care dedicated to serve patients with cleft lip and palate. In his address, he shared personal insights, clinical experiences, and the evolution of interdisciplinary treatment approaches that have transformed the treatment outcomes for countless patients with cleft lip and palate anomalies.

The Braithwaite Oration, named after one of the global pioneers in cleft care, an eminent surgeon known as ‘man of muscles’ is one of the highest honors bestowed upon professionals in the field. It recognizes exceptional contributions to cleft and craniofacial treatment, research, and advocacy.
