Chandigarh, August 6: As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Sustainable Practices Committee of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women organised the Tiranga Rakhee Mela on campus.
The event aimed to foster a personal and emotional connection with the national flag, reinforcing the spirit of patriotism, national identity, and pride among the students and staff. The highlight of the event was the display of Rakhees crafted by children of construction workers at Panjab University, created under the patronage of NGOs Prishth and Rhythms of Rhyme. The initiative served as a heartwarming expression of inclusivity, creativity, and community engagement, celebrating the spirit of Independence through artistic expression.
