CHANDIGARH, 05.08.25-After the Supreme Court reprimanded Rahul Gandhi for his remarks on the Indian Army, former Municipal Councilor Shakti Prakash Devshaali targeted the Congress leader and alleged that he has vowed to "mislead Indians and weaken India on the global stage".

Devshali said that the reprimand by the Supreme Court proves that Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has shown blatant disregard for facts and national interests. The Supreme Court of India strongly reprimanded Mr. Gandhi for his allegations that China has occupied Indian Territory. Such statements made by a prominent political figure not only mislead the public but also harm India's diplomatic efforts and national security. It is certainly an insult to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the defense of the nation in a face-to-face clash between the armies of two countries to say that our soldiers were beaten and killed. Whereas the truth is that Indian soldiers fought bravely and drove away the Chinese soldiers from there. The Gandhi family should apologize publicly for insulting the Indian Army and soldiers.

He said that the criticism by the Supreme Court underlines the seriousness of making baseless and irresponsible comments on sensitive issues like national borders. These baseless claims are in the interest of our enemy countries and distort the truth about India's sovereignty and the government's active efforts to protect every inch of the country's land.

Devshali further said that it is unfortunate that Rahul Gandhi is putting the unity and integrity of the nation in danger by spreading confusion and doubts among Indian citizens. Politicians have a moral responsibility not to make false statements for political gain. It is clear from the comments of the Supreme Court that it is very important to curb misinformation and careless statements made to fulfill political gains.
