CHANDIGARH POLICE BRIEF OF CASES DATED 05.08.2025
Three (03) persons arrested in consuming liquor at Public Place.
Chandigarh Police arrested three (03) persons in separate cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 355 BNS which registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-MJ, PS-19 and PS-49, while they were consuming liquor at public places at different parts of the City on 04.08.2025. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Cheating
A Case FIR No 93 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Sector 21 Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant Rs. 45000/- on the pretext of online investment. Investigation of this case is in progress.
