CHANDIGARH, 22.07.25-With hearts rooted in nature and a legacy of green excellence, St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Chandigarh has once again etched its name in the annals of eco-leadership by clinching the ‘Best Eco Club Award 2024’ at the prestigious Paudh Mela 2025, for the sixth consecutive year!

Conferred by the Department of Environment, UT Chandigarh, this distinguished honour celebrates the outstanding contributions of the Green Saviours Eco Club, guided passionately by Ms. G. Nithya and steered by the visionary leadership of Principal Ms. Monica Chawla.

Held on 19th and 20th July 2025, and organised by the Department of Forests and Wildlife, the Paudh Mela was a tribute to nature under the theme of Van Mahotsav. The event drew participation from schools across the city and was graced by Mr. Rajeev Sharma, IAS, Chief Secretary of UT Chandigarh, whose inspiring presence uplifted the green spirit of the gathering.
