*Rahul Gandhi can't defend himself—how will he defend the country - Energy, Transport & Labour Minister Anil Vij*
*RSS is a party of Hindustan, while Congress is a party formed by a Britisher, still carrying British sentiments- Anil Vij*
*BJP is a party of the nation, we all hail the traditions and policies of the country- Vij*
Chandigarh, July 23 - Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij once again targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying, “Rahul Gandhi cannot even defend himself. Yet, he loudly complains every day that he isn’t given time to speak.” He added that, “If a leader of the opposition has such an inferiority complex and cannot uphold the dignity of his position, how will he defend the nation?”
Sh. Vij was responding to media queries about a statement by Mehbooba Mufti, who said that the responsibility of upholding and defending the secular and democratic values enshrined in our Constitution lies with Rahul Gandhi.
Reacting strongly to a question about Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement that “the history of the RSS is different from the history of the country,” the Energy Minister said that “Kharge is absolutely right because the history of RSS is the history of the country. It represents the country’s culture, its languages, and its ethos. Congress, on the other hand, is a party formed by a Britisher, A.O. Hume. The British mindset still lives on within the Congress, which becomes visible from time to time. RSS is truly a party of Hindustan; Congress is not.”
*BJP is a party of the nation, we all hail the traditions and values of the country- Vij*
Responding to TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee’s statement that BJP members earlier chanted “Jai Shri Ram,” now say “Jai Maa Durga,” and next will have to say “Jai Bengal,” Minister Anil Vij said that “BJP is a party of this nation. In the country’s beliefs, religious ideologies and traditions—there is Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, Mata Rani, Lord Shiva—and we hail them all. You (TMC) can choose to chant or not chant whoever you like!”
