Chandigarh, 23.07.25- : Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, Gulab Chand Kataria, formally launched the poster of the National Students Paryavaran Competition (NSPC) 2025 at a special event held in Chandigarh. The launch was conducted in the presence of prominent members of Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi (PSG) Punjab, including Convenor Shri Parveen Kumar, Dr. Sanjeev Chandel, Dr. Pardeep Kumar, Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Shri Mange Singh, and Shri Parshant Kumar.

During the event, the Hon’ble Governor expressed his deep concern for the pressing environmental issues of the present era and reiterated the importance of collective action in environmental protection and conservation. He assured full support in disseminating information about the competition to all concerned stakeholders across private and government schools, colleges, and universities in Punjab and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

Highlighting the significance of the competition, he urged active participation from both students and staff of educational institutions, emphasizing that NSPC 2025 represents a shared responsibility to combat environmental degradation. The Governor also appealed to various departments and the general public to come forward and engage in awareness initiatives aimed at protecting the environment.

As NSPC 2025 is an interstate competition, there is a collective aspiration to see Punjab emerge as a leading state by the conclusion of the event. The competition will culminate on August 21, 2025, with results to be declared on August 30, 2025. During the conversation, the Hon’ble Governor was also briefed about an upcoming one-day Herbal Garden Trainer Workshop scheduled to be held in Ludhiana on July 27, 2025. The organizing team expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Governor for his valuable support and commitment to environmental causes
