CHANDIGARH, 20.05.25- At Chinmay Ashram marriage of a destitute orphan girl by the name of Ritu we performed .She was brought up and educated at the ashram .The boy Shubham has a good job.Ritu was well taken care of at the ashram .Lalita Prakash and Chandra Prakash performed kanyadaan for Ms. Ritu , a Tamilian girl with Mr.Shubham on Sunday,18 th May 2025 in the Chinamaya Mission Centre, Chandigarh gave the girl all household items and performed the janta daan

Bal Sadan, an orphanage run by Chinmaya Mission provides care and education for destitute girls. Chinamaya Mission, Chandigarh ensures the girls are well educated and independent. The mission provides value strong spiritual value system to the girls. Special Classical music classes and Gita Classes are also being organized for the girls.So far, Bal Sadan, Chinmaya Mission has successfully fulfilled the responsibility for the marriage of 42 destitute girls who were well- settled in various respectable professions.

Ms. Kalpana Ghai is the General Secretary of the Chinmaya Mission who has been ardently working with the mission since 1995. The main branch of the Bal Sadan is in Panchkula.Doctor Kumar and Ms. Kalpana Ghai worked together to start the Bal Sadan in Sector 12,Panchkula where also orphan girls are well taken care of

Ms. Lalita Prakash is an eminent educationist who runs two schools in Chandigarh. Ms.Prakash has been associated with various organizations thus contributing towards humanity.Chinmaya Misiion provides the girls a secure, safe home under the Residention Youth Leadership Programme.

Swami Swaroopnanda Ji is the head of the Chinmaya Mission Dharamshala. Swamis fromthe Chinmaya Mission have been visiting the mission in Chandigarh regularly to deliver sermons.

The main patrons of the Chinmaya Mission are Ms.Kalpana Ghai, Ms.Sudha Banth ,Ms.Lalita Prakash, Mrs.Narjit Singh,Ms.Shalini Rawat , Mr.Arun Almadi and Mr.Anubhav Tiwari.
