CHANDIGARH, 20.05.25-The Transfusion Medicine Department at PGIMER Chandigarh, under the guidance of HOD, Prof. R.R. Sharma, recently organized a blood donation camp in village Bondal, Samrala in association with the Yuvak Sewa Club led by Dr. Shekhar Sameer. The camp, held on May 20th, 2025, saw an overwhelming response from volunteer donors, with a total of 54 blood units collected.

The department of Transfusion Medicine would like to express its heartfelt thanks to all the individuals who generously donated blood at the camp. The donated blood play a vital role in fulfilling the needs of critically ill patients at the institute.

Prof. R.R. Sharma commended the efforts of all the volunteers and donors who participated in the camp, emphasizing the impact their donations will have on saving lives and improving the health of the patients.
