Jalandhar05.12.22-: Providing the largest platform to the growing and hitherto hidden Indian and international talent, Lovely Professional University (LPU) hosted 11th annual recital revels of Antara Dance Studio (Jalandhar) at its Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium.
Commencing the annual show ‘Dream Catchers-2022', titled as ‘Wings of Joy’; the first group performance echoed liberty for dancing on the song “Udne Do”. It was followed by online and offline Kathak performances worshipping Lords Rama & Krishna; Guru Vandana; Thumri dance depicting ‘Asht Naayika’ for pangs of love by Director Nidhi Mittal, herself; and, many other dance forms. More than 100 students of the studio from different walks of life and age groups performed on beautiful choreographies and compositions.
The most emotional and passionate performance of the concert was performed by the specially-abled students of Mother Teresa School. They won the hearts of the elite audience, which pledged unanimously to be always supportive to the persons around them. In fact, the theme was dedicated to all those people who have helped many others to fulfil their dreams, by supporting them. Little kids’ other incredible and energetic performances were also applauded the most.
LPU’s Pro Chancellor Ms. Rashmi Mittal chaired the occasion. She encouraged the participants with her support. She also inspired them by sharing that the dancing body says the soul’s voice that words cannot. Applauding all the participants and organizers, she wished that all of them may keep on gaining newer heights on national and global levels. Staying connected with the studio, she also congratulated the Director Mrs Nidhi Mittal for creating a huge eco-system with a purpose through mesmerising performances by her students on the LPU stage.
