*आज नगर निगम चंडीगढ़ के मेयर श्री अनूप गुप्ता ने स्थानीय पार्षद ग़ुरबक्श रावत के साथ सेक्टर 40 सी की सड़कों की कारपेटिंग व मार्किट में पेवर ब्लॉक के नवीनीकरण के कार्य की शुरुआत की। मौक़े पर मार्किट वेलफेयर व रेसिडेंट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन के सभी पदाधिकारिगण व स्थानीय निवासी मौजूद रहे। पार्षद रावत ने बताया कि सेक्टर 40 सी की मार्किट में लगे पेवर काफ़ी पुराने व टूट गये थे व उन्हें बदलने की बेहद ज़रूरत थी।

*आज पार्षद ग़ुरबक्श रावत ने सेक्टर 40 में नई एडिशनल स्ट्रॉम पाइपलाइन को डायरेक्ट एन-चो से जोड़ने के कार्य की शुरुआत स्थानीय निवासियों के साथ की। मौक़े पर नगर निगम के पब्लिक हेल्थ डिवीज़न के अफ़सर, सेक्टर 40-सी आर.डब्ल्यू.ए.- एमआईजी1 के प्रधान सी.एल. भारद्वाज, एमआईजी2 के प्रधान भूपिन्दर रंधावा अपने सभी पदाधिकारियों व स्थानीय निवासियों के साथ उपस्थित रहे। पार्षद ने बताया कि सेक्टर 40 में लो-लाईंग एरिया होने के कारण इस बार मूसलाधार बरसात के चलते जलभराव की भयवा स्तिथि बन गई थी। लोगों के घरों में पानी भर गया तथा गाड़ियाँ, घर का सामान इत्यादि का काफ़ी नुक़सान भी हुआ।
