Theft
A case FIR No. 33 u/s 305 and 331(4) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Devinder Singh R/o Chandigarh, alleging that an unknown person stole away two TV sets, taps and mixers, clothes, bed sheets, blankets and other household items from his house while the complainant was out of station since 30-05-2025.
Prisoners Act Case
A case FIR No. 17 u/s 52(A1) of the Prisoners PB Act has been registered at Police Station Sector-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of Naresh Kumar, Head Warder, Model Jail Burail, Chandigarh, against Amritpal Singh @ Gujjar R/o Village Kaloli, PS Banur, District Mohali, Punjab, aged 27 years, presently lodged in Model Jail Burail, from whose possession one mobile phone was recovered during checking.
Accident Case
A case FIR No. 18 u/s 281 and 125(A) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sachin Kumar Yadav R/o Sector-38 West, Chandigarh, alleging that Bhupinder Singh R/o PGI Society, Sector-49, Chandigarh, driver of Maruti Car No. CH-03C-8926, hit his motorcycle No. CH-01BV-8162 near Sector 49 A/B turn on 20-02-2026, as a result of which the complainant sustained injuries and was admitted to GMCH-32. Investigation of the case is in progress.
