Chandigarh, 3 October: Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women organised a vibrant workshop on Diwali Fairy Light Decoration. Ms. Aarushi Jain, Assistant Professor, Interior Designing and Decoration, was the resource person for this skill development initiative that aimed at nurturing students’ creativity while imparting practical skills in festive decoration and design. Through hands-on activities, participants explored innovative techniques that enhanced their artistic expression and inspired them to experiment with unique decorative ideas.

Officiating Principal, Ms. Neena Sharma, lauded the initiative, highlighting how such workshops go beyond technical training to instil confidence, innovation, and aesthetic sensibility in students. She encouraged the participants to not only apply their newly acquired skills during the festive season but also to develop them into sustainable creative practices that can serve as potential entrepreneurial opportunities.
