MAHENDERGARH, 28.09.25-Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor inaugurated University Crèche facility in the presence of Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma; Registrar, Prof. Suneel Kumar, faculty, staff, students, and their families. The initiative marks an important milestone in CUH’s journey of creating a more inclusive and supportive academic environment.

On this occasion Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that the crèche has been established to support employees and research scholars who wish to bring their children to campus. He said that this facility will allow parents to focus on their professional responsibilities with peace of mind. The crèche is not just a service; it reflects CUH’s commitment to being a family-friendly university that values care, inclusivity, and community,” he added.

Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice-Chancellor appreciated the initiative and congratulated the university for making it possible. Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar also congratulated the staff and families, noting that the crèche represents a significant step in child welfare and employee support.

Ms. Tanvi Bhati, Incharge of the Crèche, explained that its design and approach are inspired by the ideas of great Indian thinkers. “We have incorporated Gandhi’s emphasis on learning by doing, Tagore’s focus on creativity through art and music, Krishnamurti’s vision of free expression, and Aurobindo’s approach to holistic education. The crèche aims to make children active learners and creators, providing them with a home-like environment that combines care, play-based learning, and family support,” she said.

Prof. Renu Yadav, Dean of Students’ Welfare, highlighted that the crèche has been a long-awaited facility that will greatly benefit both children and parents. Dr. Vidyullatha Peddireddy, Convener of the Women Empowerment Cell, praised the administration’s support, emphasizing that the facility will strengthen women’s participation in academic and professional activities without compromising childcare.
