Chandigarh Police arrested Dara Singh R/o # Village Barot, District Kaithal Haryana, Harpal Singh R/o # Village Khanuri District Sangrur Punjab and Amit Village Pai, District Kaithal Haryana from near wine shop Sector 20/C Chandigarh on 08-09-2025 While drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR No. 56 U/S 68-1(B) PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-19 Chandigarh. Later on the accused was released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Action against Excise Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Vikash Kumar R/o # 2756/1 Sector 49/C Chandigarh from near Sector 48 C/D turn and recovered 23 quarters of marka santra from his possession. A Case FIR No 59 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 49 Chandigarh. Later on the accused was released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 99 u/s 190, 191(2), 115(2), 126(2), 351(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Vikash Nagar Mauli Jagran Chandigarh against Tinka R/o # 1786,Vikash Nagar Mauli Jagran Chandigarh and others beat and threaten complainant father Suraj near her house on 07-09-2025. Suraj got injured and admitted to GMCH- 32 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in Progress.
