Chandigarh:09.09.25- Rotary Club Chandigarh honoured twelve school teachers here yesterday in celebration of the Teachers Day at Rotary House.

Prof. Rudra Partap, Vice Chancellor of the Plaksha University, presided over the function as chief guest, who gave away the awards to each teacher.

He said Plaksha in Sanskrit means continuous flow of knowledge and learning, and this is what every teacher is engaged in creating a beautiful future for our world by showing the way to the budding citizens of tomorrow.

Learning, he said, is a life-long process and the presence of a mentor is essential who continues to show the right way and guide the children in imbibing the best values of life.
