CHANDIGARH POLICE BRIEF OF CASES DATED-04.08.2025
Two (02) persons arrested in consuming liquor at Public Place.
Chandigarh Police arrested two (02) persons in separate cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 355 BNS which registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-MJ and PS-34, while they were consuming liquor at public places on 03.08.2025. Later they were released on bail.
A Case FIR No 51 U/S 281, 118(2), 351(3), 309(6), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 49 Chandigarh on the complaint of Lakshay R/o # 91, Sector 15, Panchkula Haryana against three unknown person (Nihang Sikh) on bike number PB-03AW-3041 which hit to bus no DD01W-9133 from Gaushal Chowk, when bus driver and passenger down from the bus they attacked with sticks and swords on bus driver Sunil Kumar and passenger Pardeep kumar when he started making a video with his phone, they showed him a sword, snatched his phone and started beating him with sticks and out of fear on 03.08.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Assault
A Case FIR No 156 U/S 190, 191(1), 191(2), 115(2), 117(2), 118(1), 126(2) & 324(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Kushal R/o # 196, Phase-2 Ramdarbar, Chandigarh against Gaurav, Dalip and others persons attacked on the complainant. His mobile phone got damaged and gold chain were also missing on 02.08.2025. Complainant got injured and admitted in Landmark Hospital Sector 33 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Voluntarily causing hurt
A Case FIR No 166 U/S 117(2), 351(3), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Pankaj Singh R/o # 397/1 Village Dhanas, Chandigarh against Suraj and Manoj Kumar both are attacked on the complainant and threatened to him near ISBT- 43 Chandigarh on 01.08.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Theft
A Case FIR No 69 U/S 305©, 324(6), 331(5), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh on the complainant of Shivam R/o # 1917, Mauli Complex Chandigarh against Ram, Arjun and Karan they attacked on the complainant with iron rod and stolen away car music system and a bag containing documents and clothes after broken the glass of his car from near his house.
