CHANDIGARH-Date: 30 July 2025-Today, a delegation of the Chandigarh Furniture Association met the Chandigarh State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Jatinder Pal Malhotra, under the leadership of Avi Bhasin, President of Laghu Udyog Bharti Chandigarh. The delegation expressed heartfelt gratitude to Jatinder Pal Malhotra for coordinating with the Chandigarh Administration to implement the facility of online mutation within two days of property registration. This is a commendable and progressive step, providing great relief to entrepreneurs.

During the meeting, the delegation demanded the implementation of the BTC policy for Industrial Area Phase 1 and 2. They also requested the introduction of a uniform façade policy across the industrial area to ensure beautification and systematic development of the zone.

Additionally, the delegation urged that the automobile sector be allowed to operate in Industrial Area Phase 1 and 2, as it currently faces restrictions. Activities related to repair, spare parts, and accessories should be officially permitted within the industrial area.

The delegation included Avi Bhasin, Naresh Kumar, Kapil Bansal, Parmod Sharma, Rahul Gupta, Pawan Bansal, and other executive members of the Chandigarh Furniture Association.
