Thirteen (13) persons arrested in consuming liquor at Public Place

Chandigarh Police were arrested thirteen (13) persons in separate cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 355 BNS which registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-Sarangpur = 01, PS-Ind. Area = 02, PS-Mauli Jagran=01, PS-26=01, PS-31 = 01, PS-34=01 and PS-Maloya =05 while they were consuming liquor at public places in different parts of the City on 29.07.2025. Later they were released on bail.

Three persons Arrested in Arms Act,

Chandigarh Police Arrested Salim Khan R/o # 1738 Hallo Majra, Chandigarh near Forest Division, Sukhna Chow, PH-1 I/Area, Chandigarh on 28 07-2025 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No.72 U/S 25-54-59 Arms. Act, has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh. Investigation of this is in progress.

Chandigarh Police Arrested Satyam R/o # 238/B Near Ravidas Mandir Hallo Majra, Chandigarh near Forest Area Gate Village Daria in B/W Garcha L/PT to railway L/PT on 28-07-2025 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No.73 U/S 25-54-59 Arms. Act, has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh. Investigation of this is in progress.

Chandigarh Police Arrested Vaseem Ahmad R/o # 2238, New Indira Colony,ManiMajra Chandigarh near Sports Complex, Mani Majra on 29-07-2025 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No.61 U/S 25-54-59 Arms. Act, has been registered in Police Station Manimajra Chandigarh. Investigation of this is in progress.

Snatching

A Case FIR No.158 U/S 304(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # , Sector-35D Chandigarh against two unknown motorcycle riders they snatched away complainant’s gold chain near # 3371, Sector-35 D Chandigarh. on 29 07-2025 . Investigation of this case is in progress.

Quarrel

A Case FIR No. 146 U/S 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 351(3), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Aman R/o # 117, Ph-2 Ramdarbar, Chandigarh against Khushal, Krish and Vivek. They all beaten to complainant near # 117 Ph-2 Ramdarbar Chandigarh on dated 29-07 2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant

A Case FIR No.120 U/S 223 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-11 Chandigarh against Masoom Sharma (Haryanvi Singer) who sung some banned songs during live stage show held at UIET Sector-25, Chandigarh It has been found that Haryanvi Singer Masoom Sharma violated the orders of W/Advisor UT Chandigarh.
