MAHENDERGARH, 24.07.25-The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh under the aegis of the National Service Scheme (NSS) in association with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Narnaul, organized a significant awareness event titled "Road Rules, Life Tools" on 24th July 2025. The programme was held in the Mini Auditorium, Block-1 of the CUH campus and witnessed a participation of over 200 NSS volunteers, faculty members, and students.
The event was graced by Chief Guests Shri Narender Sura, District and Sessions Judge, Narnaul, and Smt. Neelam Kumari, Chief Judicial Magistrate, who offered powerful insights into legal frameworks concerning road safety and public awareness. Shri Narender Sura emphasized the urgent need to adopt preventive measures and adhere strictly to traffic laws for personal and public safety. Smt. Neelam Kumari elaborated on the role of DLSA, its initiatives in promoting legal awareness, and the significance of Lok Adalats in ensuring accessible justice.
The programme was held in the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of CUH, who highlighted the increasing relevance of road safety in the modern context. He stressed on youth participation in becoming responsible citizens. Prof. (Dr.) Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, inspired students to embrace road discipline as a civic responsibility and a life-saving practice.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Pradeep Kumar, NSS Coordinator. Dr. Pradeep Kumar, NSS Coordinator, alongside Programme Officers Dr. Neelam, Dr. Yudhvir, and Dr. Mukesh Upadhyay, efficiently managed and coordinated the event. Members of the District Legal Services Authority, traffic police officials, and NSS volunteers actively participated in the success of the awareness drive. Traffic Inspector, Narnaul, Mr. Anil Kumar and Panel Advocate, DLSA, Mr. Ajay Pandey also addressed the participants in the event.
The programme also featured a powerful Nukkad Natak (street play) by NSS volunteers, which captivated the audience with its strong message on the consequences of traffic negligence. The event concluded with the National Anthem and a collective resolution to spread awareness and follow road safety rules with utmost sincerity. CUH to Conduct Open Counselling to fill the vacant seats in PG Programmes
MAHENDERGARH, 24.07.25-The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh is going to conduct an Open Counselling on 31st July 2025, to fill the vacant/left over seats in various Postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic session 2025-26. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University said that through this counselling, an additional opportunity is being provided to eligible candidates to seek admission in various postgraduate programmes where seats are still available.
Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar of the University said that the Open Counselling will be held on 31st July 2025. Interested candidates will be required to register afresh for this round of counselling. The online registration will remain open from 25th to 29th July 2025. He further said that it is mandatory for the candidates to report to the concerned department of the University by 12:00 noon on 31st July as per the schedule. Preference will be given to those candidates who have already registered for admission to Central University of Haryana.
