CHANDIGARH, 01.05.25-Gurukul Global School celebrated Labour Day with warmth and appreciation to honour the efforts of its dedicated support staff. The event served as a reminder of the value of hard work and the dignity of labour.
The programme began with a short article highlighting the significance of Labour Day, followed by fun and engaging games that brought joy to all present. Students of Classes XI and XII presented a powerful play emphasizing respect for every kind of work. A melodious musical performance further uplifted the atmosphere.
A heartfelt video showcased the tireless contributions of the support staff, followed by the distribution of handmade cards and thoughtful gifts as tokens of gratitude. The smiles and appreciation on the faces of the staff made the moment truly special.
The celebration was graced by President Ma’am Smt. Neena Setya Ji, MD Sir Sh. Praveen Setya Ji, Director Sir Mr. Devraj Setya and Vice Principal, Ms. Renu Sharma, whose presence added significance to the occasion and reflected the school’s culture of respect and recognition for every member of the community.
The highlight of the celebration was the inspiring address delivered by Director Sir, Shri Devraj Setya Ji who spoke passionately about the value of hard work, dedication, and respect for all roles in society. In his speech, he emphasized, “No job is too small or insignificant; every contribution, no matter how humble, is vital to building a strong and compassionate community.” Also, Sir dedicated a Wonderful Self Composed Poem to express the heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the Support Staff of the School.
