CHANDIGARH, 08.11.25-The Young Communicators Club (YCC) of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, organizes its Installation Ceremony under the aegis of Public Relations Council of India, Chandigarh Chapter to induct the new team of office bearers for the session 2025–26.
Mr. Hardeep Chandpuri, CEO of Capital FM 90.8, who interacted with the students and shared valuable insights on the theme “From Script to Voice: When Words Work.” He emphasized the significance of right knowledge, diction, and pronunciation in the field of radio and professional communication.
The event was graced by Dr. Rupesh Singh, Chairman, PRCI Chandigarh Chapter and Guest of Honour for the day. Dr. Rupesh Singh highlighted PRCI’s role in nurturing creativity and leadership among youth, and reiterated the timeless importance of communication as a catalyst for human progress. He also appreciated the proactive role of MCM DAV’s YCC, which had inked an MoU with the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) in January 2022, and has since been engaging students in dynamic communication-related initiatives.
Mr. Sudeep Rawat, Secretary, PRCI Chapter; and Mr. C.J. Singh, Senior National Vice President, PRCI were also present. They felicitated the newly inducted YCC team, which includes Rabya Siag as the YCC Chair, and Richa Thakur, Pearlpreet Kaur, Aarushi, and Amey Preet as office bearers for the new session.
The ceremony was coordinated by Dr. Manjot Kaur and Dr. Preeti Gambhir, YCC Faculty Coordinators. Mrs. Neena Sharma, Officiating Principal, congratulated the new team and expressed heartfelt gratitude to PRCI for their continuous mentorship and support.
The event concluded with renewed enthusiasm and commitment from the YCC team to uphold the values of creativity, communication, and collaboration.
