MAHENDERGARH, 26.09.25-The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized a series of activities to commemorate World Pharmacists Day. The celebration highlighted the pivotal role of pharmacists in healthcare and provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and professional insights. The event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, CUH, who emphasized the vital contributions of pharmacists to society and commended the Department for initiating such a meaningful program.

Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice-Chancellor, also addressed the gathering and underlined the role of pharmacists in promoting healthcare and the safe use of medicines. Distinguished dignitaries, including Prof. Neelam Sangwan, Dean Research; Dr. Dinesh K. Gupta, Dean SIAS; and Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Head, Department of Physics, graced the occasion with their presence.
Dr. Vipan Kumar Parihar, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Convener of the event, highlighted the importance of pharmacists and their contributions to society. He informed that more than 100 scholars and faculty members from CUH and other institutions across India participated in various competitions organized by the department.
The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Dr. Sumit Kumar, Dr. Tarun Kumar, Dr. Manisha Pandey, and Dr. Ashok Jangra, whose efforts ensured smooth execution of the program. The celebrations truly reflected the spirit of World Pharmacists Day and emphasized the significance of the pharmacy profession in advancing healthcare and community well-being.
