CHANDIGARH POLICE BRIEF OF CASES DATED- 31.07.2025
Five (05) persons arrested in consuming liquor at Public Place.
Chandigarh Police were arrested five (05) persons in separate cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 355 BNS which registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS- Sarangpur = 03, PS-17=01, PS-36 = 01, while they were consuming liquor at public places in different parts of the City on 30.07.2025. Later they were released on bail.
One person arrested in NDPS Act.
Chandigarh Police arrested Pardeep @ Deepak R/o # 838 Phase-1 Ramdarbar Chandigarh near petrol pump Sector 31 Chandigarh on 30 07-2025 and recovered 12.36 Gram Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No. 149 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this is in progress.
