Chandigarh Police arrested Hariom @ Rotal R/o # 2102, Phase-2 Ramdarbar Chandigarh near R/o # 2102, Phase-2 Ramdarbar Chandigarh on 28.07.2025 and recovered 15.41 gram Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No 145 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Action against Gambling Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Amit R/o # 300, Dadu Majra Colony, Sector 38/W Chandigarh near Sheetla Mata Mandir DMC, Chandigarh on 28.07.2025 and recovered cash Rs. 1560/- while playing gambling from his possession. A Case FIR No 93 U/S 13/A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in consuming liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Ravi R/o # 225, Kajheri Chandigarh near SCO No 3019-3020 Sector 22/B Chandigarh while drinking and creating nuisance at public place on 28.07.2025. A Case FIR No 118 U/S 68-1(B) PP Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 17 Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 111 U/S 318(4), 24 Immigration Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh on the complaint of vince R/o # Village Karode House Kadaivila Veede District Trivandrum Kerala against Harjit Singh and others owner of The Burj Overseas and the World Wing Immigration SCO NO 118-120, Sector 34 Chandigarh. They cheated the complainant for Rs.29,16,000/- regarding Visa. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 113 U/S 318(4), 316(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ram Kumar R/o # Village Kotla Nihang, Ropar Punjab against Neeraj and others owner of Rio Manpower Immigration SCO NO 54-55 4^th floor, Sector 34 Chandigarh. They cheated the complainant for Rs. 80,000 /- regarding Visa. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 92 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Yogesh Kumar R/o # 154 Mauli Pind Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with the complainant Rs. 4,61,280/- regarding loan payment from 17.06.2025 to 21.06.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 112 U/S 126(2), 190, 191(2), 191(3), 115, 351(3), 118(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ekam Preet Singh R/O Village - Piple Majra, Tehsil- Chamkaur Sahib, District Ropar Punjab against Hunar Gill and 7/8 other persons who attacked on complainant with sharp weapons and punch at Principal Office SD Collage, Sector-32, Chandigarh.
