Chandigarh May 24 -The anti-Dalit face of the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab was exposed when it deliberately hid the fact that out of the 27 people who died due to consumption of fake liquor in Majitha near Amritsar, 16 belong to Dalit community, this is what Punjab BJP SC Morcha President Sucharam LADHAR and Vice President Paramjit Singh Kainth said while addressing the journalists at the state office in Chandigarh today. He informed about the poisonous fake liquor mafia. He said that every year hundreds of poor people are dying due to this, but the Aam Aadmi Party government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has failed to stop it. Such incidents have created an atmosphere of fear and panic among the poor families of Scheduled Castes. Taking strong cognizance of the recent deaths of more than 27 people due to poisonous liquor made from methanol in the border areas of Amritsar district, the BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha has demanded the National Scheduled Caste Commission to provide justice to the victims of poisonous liquor. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the ministers, MLAs, MPs, government officials who accompanied him to the spot should clarify why they hid this fact?

Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party Scheduled Caste Morcha Paramjit Singh Kainth further told the press that the Aam Aadmi Party Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann was criticized for not taking effective action against the poisonous liquor mafia and said that the government has failed miserably to expose the liquor mafia. Due to political pressure, the civil and police administration does not want to disclose the number of deaths of the Scheduled Caste community as more than 27 people have died recently due to poisonous liquor made from methanol, out of which 16 belong to the Scheduled Caste. The indifferent attitude of the Bhagwant Mann government comes to the fore, which shows that the government is anti-Dalit. Most of the people involved in this tragic incident belong to the Scheduled Caste category, due to which the government deliberately wants to hide these facts. He further said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has not registered a case under the sections of the Act against those who committed crimes under the Prevention of Atrocities Act 1989 against people enjoying political patronage. This shows the indifferent attitude of the Bhagwant Mann government, why should we not believe that this shows the anti-Dalit mentality of the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab and the government officials working under them. Which shows that the government is anti-Dalit. The Mann government wants to hide these facts. The Bharatiya Janata Party will not allow such intentions of the government to succeed. He demanded a probe into the incidents of consumption of poisonous liquor in the last three years and said that the Bhagwant Mann government was trying to hide the facts.
