Assault/Quarrel
A case FIR No. 119 u/s 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector 36, Chandigarh, on the complaint of Santosh, resident of House No. 789, Village Kajheri, Sector-52, aged 52. He reported that three unidentified boys attacked and threatened him near the public toilet at Village Kajheri on May 9, 2025. The investigation is ongoing.
A case FIR No. 39 u/s 115(2), 3(5), 329(3) BNS & 25-27-54 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Mani Majra on the complaint of Abdul Wahid, resident of Verka Booth, Bus Stand, Mani Majra. The complainant alleged that on May 10, 2025, he was attacked by Naveen Hudda and 5–6 other individuals near the Verka Booth. The assailants allegedly beat him and his nephews, Mosin and Ashkar Ali, with sticks and threatened them at gunpoint. Abdul Wahid sustained injuries and was admitted to Civil Hospital, Mani Majra. The investigation is ongoing.
Theft
A case FIR No. 36 u/s 331(4), 305(A) BNS has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran on the complaint of Jarnail Singh, resident of House No. 713, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran. He reported that an unknown person stole Rs 25,000 in cash, 2 gold rings, 2 passports, a driving license, credit and debit cards, and a chequebook from his residence on December 26, 2024. Investigation is ongoing.
A case FIR No. 52 u/s 305, 331(3) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector 17, Chandigarh, on the complaint of Gurdharshan Singh, resident of House No. 1200, Sector-23, Chandigarh. The complainant reported that an unknown person broke the window grill of his house on May 10 at around 8:15 AM and stole 4 gold rings, 3 nose pins, 2 pairs of silver anklets, 1 pair of earrings, 3 silver coins, and Rs 1 lakh in cash. The investigation is ongoing
