One arrested for applying fake registration number

A case FIR No. 51, U/S 473 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of ASI Ranjit Singh 3194/CP, Traffic Lines against Vikas R/o # 144-C, EWS Colony, Dhanas ,Chandigarh, Age 24 Years, who was apprehended near New Barricade Chowk while he was using fake registration number CH-01SC-5420 on Yamaha FZ motorcycle on 18.05.2024. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 81, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. HP-19AA-6150 namely Ashok Kumar had hit complainant (pedestrian) near Ward No. 24, Housing Board Light Point, Chandigarh on 11-05-2024. Complainant sustained injuries and was admitted to Civil Hospital, MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sourav Bhunia R/o # 1778/1, Main Bazaar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh alleged that his worker Palash Sau R/o Village Gopamahal Manoharpur, West Bengal stole way 500 gram gold items from his Shop No. 1753, 2nd floor, Main Bazaar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 07.04.2024. A case FIR No. 82, U/S 381 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 73, U/S 406, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Manmohan Pal Singh R/o # 153, Sector-45-A, Chandigarh who reported that Kamaljit Singh Bala R/o # 145/1, Sector-45-A, Chandigarh took monetary support from complainant of RS. 14 lakh to complete his project to construct an AIR BnB unit in Narur, which he promised to return in a month time. But alleged person did not return money to complainant. The investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 106, U/S 420, 463, 465, 467, 471 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the order of Hon’ble Court JMIC, UT, Chandigarh against Sandeep Gupta and Naveen Gupta both partners of M/s Shanti Industries R/o # 430, Saidan Gate, Jalandhar PB. and others who issued cheques by representing themselves as authorized signatory of M/s Shanti Industries to defraud the complainant company Bhushan Power & Steel ltd. The investigation of the case is in progress.
