`Sh M.C Singh General Manager Chandigarh infomed that BSNL is in process of replacing all old Technology Exchanges in Chandigarh BA (Business Area) comprising of areas falling in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Zirkpur, Derrabassi, Lalru, Mohali, Kharar, Ropar and Nagal with a New Generation Technology Exchanges. Where Large number of Value Added Facilities like MMVC ( Multi Media Video Conferencing) can be availed on the Landline Telephones by the individual and corporate customers. Those availing its Multi Media Video Conferening Facilities ( MMVC) services will have to login into NGN Conference portal http://conference.ngn.bsnl.co.in with the user ID and Password . This will be most secured conference platform very helpful to have secured Audio and Video meetings.

`Existing Landline Customer’s can Change his/her Landline Phones numbers to High speed Data Connections on Optical Fiber Network in the days to come once the replacement of Old Exchnages with New Generation Exchnages is completed.

`BSNL has started the Scheme of Ghar Wapsi for the customers’s who had surrended their Landline for the requirement of High Data Speed and had shifted to other Networks. Now These customer’s can retain their old Landline telephones and get it converted to Optical Network Fiber to Home FTTH Technology supported by New Generation Exchnages.

To Expand its Optical Network for Fiber to Home (FTTH) , BSNL is also encourging Start ups and companies having experience in Telecom and Cable networks to take our Franchise and become Channel Partner of BSNL and earn upto 50% revenue Share of its customer base.
