"Mumbai Famous Masala Pav" RECIPE BY FAMOUS FOOD SPECIALIST MADHULIKA VATSAL

Ingredients –

Pav buns

1 cup finely chopped onion

1cup finely chopped tomato

2 tbsp chopped capsicum

2 tbsp chopped sweet corn

1tbsp Pavbhaji masala

1 tsp red chili powder

1tbsp butter

1tsp oil

½ tsp salt

1tbsp ginger-chili-garlic paste

Fresh coriander

1 tbsp lemon juice

Mozzarella cheese

Method –

Heat oil and butter in a pan, add chopped onion and cook on low flame, add ginger-chili-garlic paste and cook for a minute, add red chili powder, pavbhaji masala, salt and mix, add tomatoes, 2tbsp of water and cover, allow to cook on low flame.

Uncover and give a stir, add capsicum, sweet corn, fresh coriander, lemon juice and mix, switch off the flame.

Make slit in pav bun, stuff 2tbsp prepared masala, add 1 tsp mozzarella cheese, cover.

Heat a tawa or a pan on low flame, add 1 tbsp prepared masala in pan, 1tsp butter and place stuffed buns, cover and allow to cook on low flame for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, uncover and enjoy hot cheesy masala pav.
