State Government committed to make Himachal a favourite destination for investors: CM

The State Government is committed to make Himachal Pradesh a favourite destination for the investors by providing them all possible incentives and above all ensuring conducive atmosphere for investment in the State. This was stated by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while interacting with the Director for Corporate Affairs, CT Power Limited, New Delhi S.K. Mishra through video conferencing from Shimla today.

Chief Minister said that the State offers immense potential for investment in tourism sector, keeping in view the salubrious climatic conditions and varied topography. He said that the State Government has framed a Tourism Policy for sustainable tourism development in the State. He said that tourism acts as an engine for development besides helping in creation of direct and indirect employment avenues to the youth.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the five major rivers flowing through the State also makes Himachal Pradesh a best destination for hydro power generation. He said that abundant sun and clear environment also make the State an ideal destination for setting up of solar power plants.

Chief Minister assured the Director for Corporate Affairs, CT Power Limited that the State Government would provide all possible help to the Company in investment endeavours.

Director for Corporate Affairs, CT Power Limited S.K. Mishra apprised the Chief Minister that the Company was interested for setting up of two 250 MW each capacity Solar power plants in the State. He said that the company was also willing to setup a five star hotel preferably in Shimla, Kangra or Mandi district of the State. He said the endeavour of the Company is to introduce a top US Hotel chain brand MGM Hotel in the State.

Additional Chief Secretary Industries Ram Subhag Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister J.C. Sharma, Secretary Tourism Devesh Kumar and Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. R.N. Batta were present on the occasion.


Cheques presented towards HP SDMA COVID-19 SDRF

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was presented cheques of Rs. 3,04,100 and Rs.1,11,000 by Chairman, Agriculture Produce Market Committee, Mandi Dalip Thakur as contribution on behalf of the Committee towards ‘HP SDMA COVID-19 State Disaster Response Fund’ here today.

General Secretary HPSEB Project Engineers Association M.K. Sharma also contributed a cheque of Rs.1,01,000 on behalf of the Association towards this Fund.

Chief Minister thanked the contributors for their noble gesture.


आशा कुमारी की अध्यक्षता में सम्पन्न हुई, लोक लेखा समिति की बैठकें।

हिमाचल प्रदेश विधान सभा सचिवालय में दिनांक 2 व 3 जून, 2020 को लोक लेखा समिति की बैठकों का आयोजन किया गया। समिति की बैठकें श्रीमती आशा कुमारी माननीय सभापति की अध्यक्षता में सम्पन्न हुई जिसमें सर्वश्री हर्षवर्धन चौहान, कर्नल इन्द्र सिंह, बिक्रम सिंह जरयाल, अनिरूद्ध सिंह, अर्जुन सिंह, रविन्द्र कुमार, राकेश जम्वाल, सुभाष ठाकुर व श्री होशयार सिंह माननीय सदस्यों ने भाग लिया।

इन बैठकों में समिति ने विभिन्न विभागों से अपेक्षित सुओ-मोटो उत्तरों तथा मूल/कार्रवाई प्रतिवेदनों में अंतर्विष्ट सिफारिशों से सम्बन्धित लम्बित कार्यों पर मुख्य सचिव एवं अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव (वित्), हिमाचल प्रदेश का मौखिक साक्ष्य किया।


HP CM ranked best performing CM of the country

Jal Shakti and Horticulture Minister Mahender Singh Thakur and Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj has congratulated the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur for being voted as the best performing Chief Minister of the country besides being ranked as the best Chief Minister amongst the BJP ruled States of the country on basis of satisfaction rank of the respondents in the national wide survey conducted by Independent agency IANS-C VOTER SURVEY .

The Ministers said that the survey was based on satisfaction rating of all the Chief Ministers as voted by the respondents in their respective States. They said that the net percentage of satisfaction in Himachal Pradesh was 73.96 percent which was much higher than most of big States. They said that the net percent of satisfaction was 67.21 percent in Karnataka, 67.17 percent in Assam, 58.73 percent in Madhya Pradesh, 58.53 percent in Gujarat, 57.81 percent in Uttar Pradesh. They said that the All India average of satisfaction was 57.36 percent.

Mahender Singh and Suresh Bhardwaj said that it was also proud moment for the State that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur had been ranked as the most popular Chief Minister of the country amongst the BJP ruled States and 7th most popular Chief Minister of the country as a whole.

They said that Himachal Pradesh was not only forging ahead on the path of progress and prosperity under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur but has also effectively tackled the impact of corona pandemic in the State. He said that the steps like Active Case Finding Campaign launched by the State Government to identify people with ILI symptoms have been appreciated even by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.


State Government maintains transparency in recruitment of Patwaris

Jal Shakti Minister Mahender Singh and Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said here today said that no irregularities were found in the Patwari recruitment examination, which was cleared by the judgement passed by the Hon'ble Himachal Pradesh High Court today. The leaders of opposition were raising unnecessary hue and cry in this regard, which was completely baseless.

Ministers said that more than three lakh candidates had applied for appearing in this examination and about three lakh candidates actually appeared in it for approximately 1200 vacancies and 1150 candidates emerged successful but the further process had to kept in abeyance in view of the pendency of the petition. On 17th November 2019, written examination was conducted through various Deputy Commissioners in different districts. Few candidates challenged the recruitment of the Patwaris in the Hon'ble High Court, alleging irregularities in the recruitment. State Government filed a detailed reply on this appeal and stated that no irregularity was done in this regard. They said that one of the candidate, who had challenged the appeal had not even appeared in the examination.

Mahender Singh and Suresh Bhardwaj said that on 8th January, 2020, Hon'ble H.P. High Court asked to further investigate the matter and detailed investigation report in this regard was filed by the CBI on 29th May, 2020. Hon'ble High Court specifically observed that the CBI has looked into the matter and has submitted a detailed report and as per this report nothing objectionable is there with regard to the conduct of the examination and selection process. It was observed by the Hon'ble Court that nothing survives in the case in view of the report of the CBI and the petition was dismissed.

Ministers said that no irregularity was done in the recruitment and the State Government was ready to get the investigation done in this regard by any State or Central agency. They said that complete transparency was followed while conducting this examination. They said that the State Government ensures transparency in recruitment and other such matters without making any compromise.


विशाल नेहरिया ने मुख्यमंत्री से मुलाकात कर कलाकारों को आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान करने की अपील की

धर्मशाला:03.06.20- धर्मशाला विधानसभा क्षेत्र के विधायक विशाल नेहरिया ने गत दिवस मुख्यमंत्री हिमाचल प्रदेश जयराम ठाकुर से मुलाकात कर सरकार से कलाकारों को आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान करने की अपील की।

विधायक ने बताया कि लाकडाउन के कारण लोक कलाकारों और विभिन्न विधाओं से जुड़े कलाकारों का कामकाज पूरी तरह से ठप्प हो गया है। लगभग सवा दो माह से कलाकार अपने घरों में बैठे हैं। ऐसे में इस वर्ग के सामने रोजी-रोटी का जुगाड़ करना मुश्किल हो गया है। सामान्य दिनों में वे स्टेज शो, गायन, वादन इत्यादि कार्यक्रमों में शामिल होकर अपनी आजीविका आसानी से कमा लेते हैं। उनकी आजीविका केवल सांस्कृतिक आयोजनों पर ही निर्भर है।

विशाल नेहरिया ने मुख्यमंत्री से निवेदन किया कि इन कलाकारों के लिए ऐसी नीति बनाई जाए जिससे इनकी आर्थिक सहायता हो सके या फिर इन कलाकारों को कोरोना महामारी के जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों का हिस्सा बना कर स्वयं-सेवी भूमिका दी जाये ताकि इससे जहां इनकी आर्थिक सहायता होगी वही ऐसे समय मे यह कलाकार जागरूकता मे अहम साबित हो सकते हैं।

उन्होेंने कहा कि इन कलाकारों और सांस्कृतिक दलों ने सरकार की नीतियों व सरकार के जन कल्याणकारी कार्यक्रम को लोगो तक अपनी कला के माध्यम से पहुँचा कर सरकार का प्रचार-प्रसार किया है साथ ही प्रदेश की लोक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से अपनी संस्कृति को जीवित भी रखा है।

उन्होंने कहा कि जिला कांगडा मे लगभग 200 व पूरे प्रदेश मे लगभग 1000 से अधिक कलाकार हैं जबकि धर्मशाला विधानसभा क्षेत्र में लगभग 8 दलो के 100 से अधिक कलाकार हैं जिनकी आय का एकमात्र माध्य्म इन कार्यक्रमों से होने वाली आमदनी है।

विशाला नेहरिया ने मुख्यमंत्री से आग्रह किया कि भाषा एवं कला संस्कृति विभाग और सूचना एवं जन सम्पर्क विभाग के पास इन कलाकारों का सम्पूर्ण डाॅटा उपलब्ध है और इन विभागों के माध्यम से कलाकारों को राहत पहंुचाई जा सकती है।
