"Haryana Narcotics Bureau" soon to curb the drug abuse and drug peddling across the state.

Chandigarh, January 13: Haryana Home Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that it has been decided to set up a "Haryana Narcotics Bureau" soon to curb the drug abuse and drug peddling across the state. He added that this bureau would perform a special framework to completely control the drug peddling across the state. He said that the strict action will be initiated against those involved in drug trade in the state and the n steps will be taken for the drug victims to overcome drug abuse.

He added that a group of STF personnel, headed by an IPS officers will be engaged in the task, until the process of formation of the bureau will be completed.

Mr. Vij said that no investigations other than handwriting test is pending in cases of forensic examination in the Madhuban laboratory, for which officers have been exploring about the matter.

Chandigarh, January 13 - Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Minister, Mr. Sandeep Singh said that the CAA law will not take away the citizenship of any Indian citizen. He said that some political parties are trying to hurt the spirit of brotherhood in the country.

Quoting the Father of the Nation, he said that even Mahatma Gandhi had assured that refugees will get citizenship in India.

Mr. Singh was addressing several villages of Pehowa during his tour organized to express thanks to the people of the area. Earlier, the Sports Minister, Mr. Sandeep Singh laid the foundation stone of Ravidas Chaupal in village Kandela and BC Dharamshala of village Malikpur, Shiv Mandir of Surmi and Valmiki Chaupal of Kandela. During the visit to the Surajgarh's BC Dharamshala, he spoke to the residents of the area and their problems.

He said that during the tenure of the present government, every village of Pehowa would be regularly getting development work done.

Chandigarh, January 13: Haryana Power Minister, Mr. Ranjit Singh said that the panchayats should motivate people to pay electricity bills so that the uninterrupted electricity is supplied to the people of the state. He said that the government has set a target to minimize the line losses up to five percent and actions are being taken against those involved in power theft.

Mr. Ranjit Singh listened to the problems of the residents of Sirsa district and directed the present officers to redress them. Several panchayats of the district also met the Minister regarding problems in their respective villages. While listening to the problems, the Minister said that the panchayats should work for the welfare of their villages and help in making people aware of the schemes of the state government for successful implementation.
