As many as 128 NCC Cadets including 50 girls from all over the country are participating in a 12 day National Cadet Corps(NCC) All India Special National Integration Camp(NIC) at  Leh Ladakh starting on 26 August 2013.Cadets are from Kerala,Bihar,Madhya Pradesh,Chhatisgarh,Maharashtra,Andhra Pradesh,Karnatka,Goa,West Bengal,Sikkim,Rajasthan,Odisha,Tamil Naidu,Assam,Arnuchal Pradesh,Meghalya,Tripura and,Jharkhand,Directorates of National Cadet Corps, comprising 63 Boys,50 Girls and Associated NCC Officers/Girl Cadet Instructors.They were seen off by Air India Special Flight from Chandigarh to Leh by Wg Cdr Jaideep Singh Jeji,Commanding Officer ,No1,Chandigarh Air Sqn,NCC  today.

             Wg Cdr Jeji informed that these NCC Cadets  were made to under go High Altitude medicals to check their fitness prior to their departure. Special National Integration Camps are a part of  cultural learning syllabus of NCC training.He further informed the Cadets are very excited to see Ladakh,learn about their culture as one team of our nation.The Camp starts at Ladakh from 26 Aug 13 and will continue till 06 Sep 13, Cadets will return  to Chandigarh, to finally leave for their respective States after the camp.
