Chandigarh, October 12: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has said that after treating the wastewater, maximum utilization of the same should be ensured.

The Chief Minister said this while presiding over a review meeting on the reuse of wastewater here today. During the meeting Chief Minister also learned about the technical aspects in the modern context.

The Chief Minister said that in view of the water crisis in the future, planning should be done to reuse the treated water wherever possible. A plan ensuring its maximum use should be made, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that the work should be completed by convening a special meeting of the officers of the concerned departments on this subject.

An authority should be set up to review the works

The Chief Minister said that an Authority should be set up to ensure maximum use of treated water so that the scheme could be implemented properly. This Authority should take forward the scheme in coordination with all the concerned departments, local bodies, HSIIDC and other authorities, he directed.

Supply for power plants

The Chief Minister said that treated water should be supplied for use in the power plants. For this, whatever necessary technology or infrastructure is to be prepared, accordingly steps should be taken for that at the earliest. This will lead to maximum saving of potable water for the future, he added.

Treated water should be used in building and industrial construction works

Sh. Manohar Lal said that wherever there are industrial clusters, treated water should be supplied for use in industrial works. Besides this, there is a need to use treated water at building sites also.

On this occasion, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sh. D. S. Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretary, Power Department, Sh. P. K. Das, Additional Chief Secretary, Irrigation and water resources Department, Sh. Devender Singh and senior officers of concerned departments remained present.

Chandigarh, October 12- Haryana Government has resolved to bring the benefit of government services and schemes to the doorstep of beneficiaries in line with the spirit of Antyodaya in the state. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal is continuously monitoring the delivery of services himself and has given strict directions to officers and employees to ensure to work in a timely manner, else strict action will be taken against them. In order to ensure transparency and accountability in the work by government employees, the State Government has developed new online portals and software using IT, so that the common man can get the benefit of services in easy and timely manner.

In order to ensure transparency and accountability in government work, the Deputy Commissioner of Panchkula district took strict action against HRA Department's clerk, Anil Kumar for laxity in performing his duties and issued suspension letter to him thereby upholding Chief Minister's zero tolerance policy.

Anil Kumar has been suspended under Haryana Civil Services Penalties and Appeal Rules, 2016 from October 11, 2021, in view of not presenting satisfactory response in relation to files pending for more than 16 to 60 days on e-Office. During the suspension period, Anil Kumar's headquarters will be Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula Office and he can leave his headquarters only with the permission of Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula.

The action taken against government employees for negligence will set an example to ensure that government officers and employees carry out their work in a transparent manner so that services are delivered to the public in a timely manner.

It is worth mentioning that ever since Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has taken charge since 2014, he has focused steadfastly on good governance since then.

Disciplinary action is taken on government officials and employees who neglect their work under the Chief Minister's Zero Tolerance Policy, so that an example may be presented in the state that now the negligence and laxity in government work will not be tolerated.

Flying Training Institute will start in Bachhod: Dushyant Chautala

50 percent seats will be reserved for the youth of Haryana

Chandigarh, October 12- Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that the state government wants to develop Haryana as an aviation hub. Within the next two months, a Flying Training Institute will be started at Bachhod in Mahendragarh district, in which 100 youth will be given pilot training in one session. In this, 50 percent seats will be reserved for the youth of Haryana.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala was addressing at the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of various projects in the auditorium of Narnaul today. He said that the approval for the flying training institute is expected soon from Civil Aviation after which this training institute will be operational at Bachhod. In the future, there is going to be huge demand for pilots in the aviation sector, considering all the factors and future prospects, this training institute will be opened. He said that just as the government gets the bond filled for admission in MBBS, in the same manner a bond will be filled by the applicants and they will also be given a loan under the scheme of the Haryana Government. He said that today a meeting was held with the officials of the Aviation Department at Bachhod airstrip where discussions were held to explore the possibilities of many projects. He added that the efforts being made by the State Government are reaching towards its successful implications. Due to these efforts, today Bachhod airstrip is the only airstrip in the country where skydiving takes place. He said that during the last one month more than 100 citizens have done skydiving here. Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that in the coming time private companies will be able to get their aircrafts repaired here. For this MoU is being signed by the State Government.

Chandigarh, October 12 - Additional Chief Electoral Officer of Haryana, Smt. Hema Sharma said that according to the Guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India, regarding bye elections being held in 46-Ellenabad Assembly Constituency of Sirsa district on October 30, 2021. Haryana Election Department has issued guidelines, under section 126 of The Representation of the People Act, 1951, that no person shall conduct any exit poll and publish or publicise by means of print or electronic media or disseminate in any other manner, whatsoever, the result of any exit poll during such period, as may be notified by the Election Commission in this regard.

She said that these orders have been issued by the Election Commission of India in regard to the bye elections of Parliamentary Constituencies and Assembly Constituencies being held in various states and Union Territories.

She informed that in exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of Section 126A of The Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission, having regard to the Sub-Section(2)(B), notifies the between 6 am and 7:30 pm on October 30, 2021 (Saturday), as the period during which conducting any exit poll and publishing and publicising by means of print or electronic media or disseminate in any other manner, whatsoever, the result of any exit poll in connection with the aforesaid bye elections shall be prohibited.

She further clarified that under Section 126(1)(b) of the The Representation of the People Act, 1951, displaying any election matter including results of any opinon pll or any other poll survey, in any electronic media, would be prohibited during the period of 48 hours ending with the hours fixed for the conclusion of poll for the aforesaid by election.

Smt. Sharma said that any person who contravenes the provisions of the above sections shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine or both. The Election Commission is committed to conduct elections in a free, transparent, fair and secure manner.

Sh. Dalal said this during a meeting with the officials of Agriculture Department and representatives of fertilizer manufacturing companies here today. For sowing the next crops, fertilizers should be made available to the farmers according to the cultivable land in the districts of the state so that the farmers don’t face any problem regarding shortage of fertilizers.

The Agriculture Minister directed the officers that according to the demand of farmers, fertilizers should be distributed properly in the mustard sown areas so that the mustard can be sown on time. Keeping in mind the sowing of the next wheat crop, the data regarding the quantity of fertilizer required should be prepared at the district level and the fertilizer should be distributed accordingly, he added.

In the meeting, the officials apprised the minister that the Union Government had assured that more DAP fertilizer would be supplied for sowing of mustard and wheat crops. He also said that farmers should be made aware to use SSP fertilizer at the time of sowing of mustard as it is beneficial for mustard cultivation.

On this occasion, representatives of fertilizer companies apprised the Minister that sufficient quantity of Urea, DAP, NPK, SSP fertilizers are available for sowing of next Rabi crops. He said that SSP fertilizer is best for sowing mustard as it contains phosphorus and sulfur element as well. NPK fertilizer should be used during sowing of wheat as it contains the three main elements which increase the crop yield.

While giving directions to the representatives of the fertilizer companies, the Agriculture Minister said that the dealers have been directed not to insist the farmers to buy pesticides along with fertilizers so that the expenses of the farmers can be reduced and they can get fertilizers as per their requirement.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department, Dr. Sumita Mishra, Director General Agriculture, Sh. Hardeep Singh and other officers of the Department were also present in the meeting.

Haryana Police crack bank robbery case, two with bounty of Rs 50,000 each arrested

Chandigarh, Oct 12– In a major-breakthrough in a broad daylight bank robbery in a nationalised bank in Karnal district, Haryana Police has arrested two accused from Himachal Pradesh and recovered two country-made pistols, 10 cartridges, Rs 2,84,500 in cash, a motorcycle used in committing crime from their possession.

Giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that three armed robbers had on October 5, 2021 looted at gun point Rs 10.64 lakh from the Bank of Baroda of Nissing in Karnal.

The arrested accused, carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 each were identified as Ankur alias Rinku, a resident of Panipat district and Vikas alias Kashu of district Karnal.

Bank staff informed that three unidentified armed persons entered the branch at around 3.45 pm on October 5, looted Rs 10,64,000 from the bank and fled away on a motorcycle.

Immediately, after getting information, five police teams were constituted to crack the case. Based on intelligence and other inputs, police has cracked the case and nabbed two accused from Kala Amb in Himachal Pradesh and recovered Rs 2,84,500 cash, a motorcycle, two country made pistols and 10 cartridges.

Primary probe revealed that after committing the crime, the accused took rooms on rent at different places in Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. During this, the accused used to take the room for more days but they leave after staying there for a day or two.

Investigations also revealed that both the arrested accused were also absconding in the broad daylight robbery of Rs 15,35,974 from a filling station in village Uchana, Karnal on 12.04.2021. In the year 2012, a case of murder was registered against the accused Ankur in district Panipat. The accused in this case had come out of jail after serving four years of imprisonment. Apart from this, he has already served jail term in 2017 in a robbery case in Ambala. A case of robbery is also registered against the Vikas in Sonipat district. In this case, the accused had come out of jail after serving 9 months’ sentence.

Both the accused were produced in the court and brought on police remand. Third accused in this case has already been identified and efforts are being made for his arrest. Further investigations are underway.
