CHANDIGARH, 11.09.26-ROTTO North, PGIMER, Chandigarh, conducted an Organ Donation Awareness Session at Eternity Logistics, engaging employees across both morning and night-shift batches as part of the nationwide ‘Jug Jug Jiyo Abhiyan’.

The sessions witnessed an enthusiastic and encouraging response from the employees, with participants actively engaging with the ROTTO North team, raising questions and seeking clarity on various aspects of organ donation and transplantation. The initiative reflected Eternity Logistics’ commitment towards creating a socially aware and responsible workplace and bringing meaningful community-oriented initiatives closer to its employees.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ravi Kumar, Marketing Head of Eternity Logistics appreciated the efforts of ROTTO North, PGIMER, in taking the message of organ donation directly to workplaces. He stated, “A workplace is not only a place where we contribute professionally; it is also a space where awareness, compassion and social responsibility can grow. The decision by Eternity Logistics to organise separate sessions for employees working in different shifts was particularly appreciated by the ROTTO North team. The initiative demonstrated that workplace awareness programmes can be designed in an inclusive manner, ensuring that operational schedules do not become a barrier to participation in important public-health and humanitarian campaigns.

During the sessions, Ms. Saryu D. Madra, Consultant, IEC Media, ROTTO North, PGIMER , interacted with the employees and highlighted the importance of informed awareness in strengthening the organ donation movement. Ms. Madra stated, “Organ donation begins with awareness, but it becomes meaningful when people are given the opportunity to ask questions, understand the process and make an informed decision. The participation of employees across both shifts at Eternity Logistics is especially encouraging because it shows that awareness can reach every section of a workplace when organisations take the initiative to make it accessible.”

The sessions also featured an interactive question-and-answer segment, which generated considerable interest among employees. Participants raised queries related to eligibility for donation, the donation process, myths surrounding organ donation, family consent and transplantation. The ROTTO North team addressed the questions and provided participants with accurate information to help them make informed decisions. The ROTTO North team comprising Ritika and Manpreet facilitated all those who came forward to pledge for organ donation.
