Chandigarh Police arrested Om parkash R/o # 2320 phase-2 Ramdarbar Chandigarh from near Atul furniture Industrial area Chandigarh on 27.08.2026 and recovered 32 half of royal general whisky from his possession. A Case fir no 140 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is progress.

Cyber Cheating

A Case FIR No 146 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 339, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ranjan Kumar R/o # 763/B Canara bank, apartment Sector 44/A Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs. 4,13,000/- through fake Adani gas APK file for gas bill payment. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 110 U/S 318(4), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh on the complaint of Mohammed Raza Ansari R/o # A-38 Deep Vihar Colony Bahadur road Ludhiana Punjab against Harsh Beniwal, Sukhjeet Singh and others of Rayat solutions consultancy Sector 26 Chandigarh they cheated complainant for Rs. 3,50,000/- to send him abroad. Investigation of this case is in progress.
